yeah it's on quite regularly - only trouble is they have a commercial break every three or four numbers

likewise re The Hollies 'Look Through Any Window' historical perspective

shame there is NO Shadows historical perspective (the surviving guys at least ought to be interviewed while it can be done)

...or any vintage Hollies concert with Allan Clarke (besides that short 1969 BBC one in b/w with only a few hits)

I watched a bit of this and the quality is better than my DVD!

Hank, Bruce and Brian do a lengthy chat piece as a bonus on the Final Tour DVD. Add to that the Rick Wakeman interviews with Bruce and Brian and there's a reasonable chunk of material out there. I'm not sure what new stuff might be achievable if someone tried to do it again. There's loads of Shads info on this site too. If you haven't before, try the Search facility to the top right. It's well worth exploring.

Out of interest (and on a tangent to the original post), if an interview situation like that came up, what would people ask that hadn't been asked and answered before?

I suspect they've all been asked everything and they've individually answered the questions they've wanted to answer.

I think Brian's forthcoming book will be well worth having.

Bruce has already written his autobiography and I believe Hank is not minded to do likewise.

Hank has been asked in the past to write his life story but the publishers wanted him to sensationalise it and wanted the dirt, something he is not prepared to do so he's (quite rightly) refused. I'm looking forward to Brian's book and hope it's released in time for Christmas so i can get a nice stocking filler.
