STANDING OVATION FOR SHAZAM

Postby Beatroute63 » 27 Sep 2010, 20:46

Shazam, with vocalist Ian Geest, earned a well deserved standing ovation at the Talisman Theatre Kenilworth, last night (26/09/10) for a powerhouse performance from the opening cords of Shaddoogie to the closing notes of their encore Move it. A high energy 3hr performance got the audience to its feet. great night, great value, great music.
Thanks, Richard.

I have very fond memories of visiting the Talisman two years ago during our second UK "tour" to see Shazam with Ian Geast, and of course the two other Ian's in the band. So does that now make the Talisman Theatre the Three I's and hence one up on the Two I's.

We stayed at the Stratford-on-Avon youth hostel overnight which I can thoroughly recommend, and re-visited the Warwick Shads club next day. It was a fantastic weekend and long may it continue. Thanks for the memories guys.
