Thanks from giving those of us who were not there such a strong impression of the event.

Rob has done a great job 'reporting' on the funeral and we all thank him for that.

Also at the funeral, as a fitting family tribute, Billie Davis, Margaret Harris (ex-wife) and Jet's two sons (Ben and Craig) released a white dove from a cane basket as the mourners watched in the grounds of the crematorium after the service. A sad and symbolic moment.

One other observation. It would have been nice for someone to have got Bruce seated. He's mending well, but it was a long time to be stood up so soon after such a major operation.

Then it was Pierre-Antoine Delpierre, who is also the webmaster of the French Cliff & Shads Fan Club web site.

Hi Rob,

I guess it might have been Bernard Broche, the President of the French Cliff & Shads Fan Club.

Thanks for having represented all the fans worlwide, who like myself couldn't be there. I guess that no one could have done it better than you did.

Didier

Hi Didier
I am the guy who meet Arpeggio at the end of the service. I was with my friend Claudine Lordan and Mo Foster as Bernard Broche commissioned me for representing the French Official Shadows fan Club "Les Amis de Cliff Richard & The Shadows".
Also, at the end of the Ceremony I Asked to Rob for getting his wonderful words about Jet for publishing a french translation for the Club...

In fact the guy was me not Bernard

Salut Didier

I was thinking the same. I have'nt seen,or heard, any comments at all from Hank regarding the passing of Jet. I wonder why?
Seems strange.

I was hoping that this wouldn't come up. I believe that as Hank is a Jehovah's witness, he does not attend events like this. Perhaps a tribute from Hank after Jet's passing would have prevented speculation about his absence.
