These are very kind (and very helpful) offers!

The damage seen on the version of "Spotlight On..." (provided by Risky Phil) wasn't that much of a problem. In fact, it didn't take long to fix.

But the problem there was that the scan was a little too low in resolution to allow easy manipulation for cleaning up the image. Clean-up can be accomplished in several ways, but each of the methods tends to reduce the visual quality of typefaces by "quantising" the outline of each character (and don't even think about grey patches inside the loops formed by parts of the letters a, b, d, e, g, o, p and q and figures 4, 6, 8, 9 and 0!).

So...

If possible, and by your good grace, I'd still like HQ bmp or jpg scans (around 4 - 10 megabytes per image) of the following UK EPs:

Los Shadows (front only - only if it is the "suits" and "cathedral steps" version)

(front and rear on each of the following)

Spotlight on the Shadows
Those Talented Shadows
Out Of The Shadows No 2
Dance With The Shadows No 2
Themes From Aladdin
Alice In Sunderland
The Sound Of The Shadows
The Sound Of The Shadows No 2
The Sound Of The Shadows No 3
Those Talented Shadows

Then...

Any French EPs other than "Apache" or "Feelin' Fine" (which I have).

Then any other overseas EPs which are either unique or different from the UK versions to a marked degree (eg, the Australian "Bombay Duck" EP or the German "Evening Comes" EP).

Don't worry if the sleeve doesn't align itself perfectly with the scanner - I can fix angles in Photoshop. Don't do any colour correction or damage repair - I now have tried and tested ways of getting acceptable copies for the site.

Over to you gentlemen once more, and may I say, go back to your scanners and prepare for governm... er... I mean... emailing!

Hi Jim,

"Evening Comes" was never released on a German EP, there has only one German EP been released which is "The Boys". To my knowledge "Evening Comes" was only released on the New Zealand EP (EPE 23).
