South Yorks (Doncaster) Shadows Club meeting today

The South Yorks Shadows Club is a new club formed recently by Mike, Geoff and Graham (sorry gents, like so many of the various Shadows club members I only know you by your christian names!) and although it's only the third meeting for the club it is already getting quite a following, which includes alot of old faces (figuratively speaking of course!) from the Derby and North Notts clubs.
The club hold its meeting at Hyde Park Working Mens Club & Institute, Nelson Street Doncaster, DN4 5AD - which is conveneniently situated close to the M18, with ample parking space.Snacks can be obtained in the Club or there are plenty of fast food outlets in the vicinity (KFC, McDonalds, Pizza Hut etc.).
Format for the meeting is start at 12:00, playing for the first two hours to backing tracks and then playing in live bands for the next two hours.
Geoff informs me that they will have a club meeting on the first Sunday of every month.

It was a very enjoyable session for me (and I believe everyone else) today and I can wholeheartedly recommend that you try the club.

Sent the missus off to Leeds shopping with my girls and I spent a very enjoyable afternoon at The South Yorks Shadows Club in Doncaster.
Well organised and terrific playing .
I certainly agree with Tony the club is well worth supporting.

Is there to be a Doncaster meeting March 7th? It's a long way from Congleton, but I might just make it!
