Leo's Den News

Postby drakula63 » 13 Sep 2017, 21:15

Just received an email from the gang.

For those of you who don't subscribe (shame on you), here's some GOOD NEWS and BAD NEWS.

First the BAD NEWS:

"...I shall briefly add that sadly Mr Bennett's book is very much on the back burner now which is a real shame."
So looks like that much looked forward to Christmas pressie won't be arriving. Not this year anyway.
:(

But the GOOD NEWS:

"I know the chaps are super keen to celebrate in some way their 60th anniversary next year, it's just getting all those wheels in motion together and fast!"
So maybe 2018 will turn out to be a GREAT year after all...?!
:D

That might mean another boxed set, or it might mean something else...

Is Brian's book ever going to come out? It seems like it's been on a back burner for about 3 years...

Ah well, no book this year. Looks like it'll never come out at this rate. I guess Brian is too busy with other projects. I know he's working on something with Alan Hawkshaw.
I wouldn't bet on their being anything of note released, it'll probably be another Greatest Hits package or a boxed set of all their 60's albums (or something).
Sorry this post sounds very pessismistic :)
