Just found this picture on one of the many Shads social media sites.

Looks to have been taken on their 20 Golden Dates tour of May 1977. A great pic, just a shame that Francis Monkman has been left out of the shot!

Looks like that could be Croydon with some audience seating behind the Shads.

Yep, fairly certain it's the Fairfield Halls. I was too late to get tickets for that tour, but the Faifield Halls was the first time I saw The Shads on their pre-Eurovision tour in 1975. My first concert, actually!

I saw the show at the Glasgow Apollo. Note the colour of the guitars. Fiesta Red may be a "must have" for fans, but it doesn't seem to bother the Shads!
