Hi all,
Am looking for a midi foot controller to select patches on my Zoom RFX-2000 from the stage floor.
Looking for something quite compact and neat.
Anyone recommend anything or better still know something going second hand?
Cheers,
Richard

Look for a Rolls Midi Buddy, great pedals which can be picked up for about £60 2nd hand.

Currently use mine with my Q20
the dip switches on the back make it suitable for the RFX 0 - 127 or Alesis units 1 - 128.

I use the RFX MidiBuddy for my Zoom 2200 and it works a treat!! As has been said, they can be picked up for £50-£60. It's a very compact unit also.

Thanks for the advice. I've also seen the Tech21 Midi Mouse which is very compact and would fit perfectly on my pedal board but will have to look at all of these in more depth.
Where is a good place to look 2nd hand. Have looked at ebay ad gumtree but not much floating about.
Cheers,
Richard

I use a Tech 21 Midi Mouse with my Quad Plus. You can either step up or down programs one at a time or use the 'scroll and select' function if the program you want is any kind of a distance from the one you've got selected. I picked mine up for £20 on eBay.

I've got a midibuddy linked to my Q20 and it works exceedingly well once you've mastered the programming aspects of linking the two units to operate the right patches etc. There are quite scarce so you may have to import from the US via ebay - don't forget the import taxes etc!!
