The Drifters' first single recorded 60 years ago

It's exactly 60 years ago that The Drifters recorded their very first tracks as a group for their first single. The group themselves have condemned it and said it wasn't released, but it escaped! I think the two tracks are quite charming and a good first effort.

Well remembered.

Exactly one month later, 9th February, The Drifters recorded the "Cliff!" album at Abbey Road, with their own three tracks, Driftin', Jet Black and Be Bop A Lula.

However, on 24th March 1959, the group recorded two tracks which have never been released: C'Mon and She's Gone (presumably both vocals, and the latter re-recorded by Cliff and The Shadows in March 1960 for the "Me And My Shadows" LP).
