HEY, STEADY ON -- YOU'LL BREAK IT!

Postby RalphG » Sun Jan 17, 2010 3:08 am

Wonder if anyone has ever said this to Hank as he tests a guitar before launching into a number: ""Hey, steady on -- you'll break it!"

Amusing moment captured here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5p4bi9823LM on mobile phone footage when original Cupid's Inspiration lead singer Terry Rice-Milton and lead guitarist Bernie Lee got up on stage with New Amen Corner to perform the huge 1968 hit "Yesterday Has Gone."

Although the footage is a bit wobbly it just about captures the fact that Terry still has that amazing voice more four decades on. One of the great 60s powerhouse hits.

The performance was all the more amazing because it was totally without any rehearsal -- Terry and Bernie only met the Corners for the first time less than two hours before the show
