3. Theme for Young Lovers
4. A Better Man Than I
5. Gracie
6. Like Strangers
7. Love Deluxe
8. Shoba

...but it could be a different eight this time next week!

What would your list be, Ken?

Well my list would have to include Apache as that was what inspired me to try and learn to play the guitar. Mr Weedon failed to do it in a day though.

Apache
Wonderful Land
Las Tres Carabelas (Three Galleons)
Genie With The Light Brown Lamp
Sweet Dreams
Blue Star
The Breeze And I
Stardust

Apache
Witch Doctor
Wonderful Land
The Breeze And I
Theme From The Deerhunter
Moonlight Shadow
Equinox Part V
Going Home

Apache is... as with the most of us, the one that starts it all...for me and it cost me a second house...on records, video tapes,cd's,dvd's,guitars, amps, echo's merchandise, tickets, travelling etc.
But I wouldn't miss it for all the money in the world, it gave such a lot of pleasure and joy to start me playing and meet like-minded people ! :D

I'd take forever to whittle it down to eight, so I'd probably start with all the ones that made me drool as a teenager.

1. Apache
2. F.B.I.
3. Man of Mystery
4. The Stranger
5. The Savage
6. Theme from Shane
7. Mustang
8. Find me a Golden Street

Next eight..........................

Well the popularity results are in, and probably no surprise that "Apache" tops the list with 8 votes hotly pursued by "Wonderful Land" with 7 votes, the remainder are

Equinox Part V 4
Mustang 4
The Savage or Wich Doctor 4
Love De Luxe 3
Moonlight Shadow 3
Peace Pipe 3
The Breeze And I 3
Theme for Young Lovers 3
Atlantis 2
Going Home 2
Pinball Wizard / See Me, Feel Me 2
Shadoogie 2
Sweet Dreams 2
Turn Around And Touch Me 2

And the remainder with one vote each.
A Better Man Than I
A Place in the Sun
Arty's Party
Blue Sky Blue Sea Blue Me
Blue Star
Crockett's Theme
Don't Throw It All Away
F.B.I.
Fender Bender
Find me a Golden Street
Genie With The Light Brown Lamp
God Only Knows
Goodnight Dick
Gracie
Granada
Jigsaw
Jungle Jam
Las Tres Carabelas
Like Strangers
Man of Mystery
Mountains Of The Moon
Nivram
Rise and Fall of Flingel Bunt
Rodrigo's Guitar Concerto
Sacha
Santa Ana
Semi-Detached Suburban Mr James
Shoba
Something
Somewhere
Spider Juice
Stardust
The Flyder And The Spy
The Fourth Man
The Lost City
The Rise & Fall of Flingel Bunt
The Stranger
The Themes from Eastenders and Howard's Way
The War Lord
Theme from Shane
Theme From The Deerhunter
Years Away

It seems we all have our favourites which are not '"The Standards" which is quite refreshing, in that we are each keeping the boys impressive catalogue alive.
