I find things like this very interesting. Love this kind of trivia.
I will have to dig out some of the old recordings and have a listen.
Please keep them coming!

Tim.

Listening to Bosa Roo on The Sound of The Shadows LP mid way through the middle break you can hear a buzzing sound briefly could Hank have touched a string accidentally ,have a listen.

While you're at it, you may (just, may) hear the only example I know of John Rostill fumbling a note.

I hope nobody minds me pointing out that you lot have too much time on your hands.

Just saying.

Cheers, Alan.

Speaking of which: bass note E instead of A in "back home" at 0:36.

Sorry Alan...sorry Iain... :D but I've always felt that Hank's muted guitar and Brian's 'tattoo'-style drumming in Atlantis when the intro comes back in (about 1:25) are slightly out of time? Not sure if Brian's dragging a bit or Hank's playing a bit too fast...or perhaps it's my ears. Never seen it mentioned anywhere else...anyone else noticed it? Atlantis is possibly my favourite Shadows tune ever.

I have yet to notice this legendary, infamous 'mistake' in Man of Mystery. I must have listened to this ten thousand times, at least, and it still eludes me. :D

It is towards the end at 01:47, immediately after Hank seems to slightly miss a note. :geek:
