Cliff & The Shadows "Sentimental Journey" new rarities CD

Postby iefje » Fri Jul 24, 2020 11:11 am

Leo's Den has announced the release of another new rarities to be released by Dusty Tapes in late August/early September, called "Sentimental Journey" by Cliff Richard & The Shadows. All tracks have been taken from TV shows, recorded between 1958 and 1962. Also included is "Apache", which features Cliff on lead guitar, the recording we have been discussing recently. Should be another worthwhile addition to our collections. I've ordered my copy. ;)

Dear Mr Koers,

Thanks for the headsup, - I wonder if there will be anything "new" on it?
Still, if it comes in a nice sleeve with some previously unseen pics or sleeve notes?

Could be of interest?

Kindest regards,
Christopher

The material is new in the sense that almost all tracks will be released legally for the first time. There are some tracks on it, which first appeared on the 1994 UK VHS video "The Hit List".

A friend and Cliff Richard fan sent me a picture of this records cover and it looks great.
I don't have the play list but the cover gives dates of 1958 to 1962.
I like the older tunes and so i will buy this CD and drift back to the days when we were younger than today ;) .

Its allright, really.
You see, my mind was taken over subliminaly by Beatles tunes way back in
1975. Therapy is ongoing.

Stay well.

I read that a bit too quickly, and read it as 'antibodies'.

I thought, that's daft, antibodies is the one thing we do need at present ...
