For him, making a CD would be more a hobby than hard work !

He seems to release something every three years or so.

He most recent albums have been very much like an 80s Shads album - no theme more a collection of
Covers and an original track

It will be called a 'new' CD.

But there'll be little or nothing on it that's actually new.

Whatever it is, if it happens, will not be the Shadows.

I was walking past the empty shell of my former shop y'day (someone took it on after me, and ran it into the ground within a year) Someone pointed to it and remarked "it's all ready for you to go back in, Mart." "Wild horses wouldn't drag me back there", I replied. I suspect Hank, with his 80th looming, may well feel the same.

During the pandemic I would hope he's been using the opportunity to fill his newly 'locked down' spare time with some recordings - socially distanced of course, but that's easy these days - just watched Steve Hackett making massively orchestrated recordings in his living room, pre-pandemic but simply calling in individual personnel on their own as required.

And most of us would buy a CD of Hank simply practising scales, so he has a captive market.

Probably not though.
