Careful Chris, you don't want to take it off topic!

I could always bring you one, but then everyone else would want one!

Anyway I thought the saying was "You're Never Alone With A Capstan!"[/quote]

Hi Amanda,
I thought the thread title was clever being a play on The Rapiers CD 'You're never alone with....The Rapiers' which itself was a play on that old cigarette ad............. ;)

After today's action on Merseyside, shouldn't it be "You'll Never Walk Alone"?

Thanks to all for the kind comments, but my parents were the ones who made the effort.

Dan and I are looking forward to Warwick tomorrow.

...and to take things full circle the music for Strand cigarette advert is The Lonely Man Theme which is track 15 on You're Never Alone With The Rapiers.

Ralph,

Can you tell us what the technical problem was with Colin's echo unit.

I asked Justin the same question on Tuesday night at the Hankies -

The answer - He didn't know! (and he was there!)

See you tomorrow Justin, the AC15 is ready to go in the car!

Along with an amp stand!

Hi Barry

Regret I don't immediately know. I've been ill for a few weeks and only posted that for Colin to say a well deserved thanks to Justin and his parents.

If, as Amanda says above, Justin doesn't know why it packed up then maybe it needed investigation back home.

Perhaps Greg or I can persuade Nathan to post all the technical details on his new Rapiers sound web page.

Bests
