YOU'RE NEVER ALONE WITH JUSTIN DAISH!

Colin Pryce-Jones says words are almost inadequate when it comes to thanking
Justin Daish and his parents for coming to the rescue of The Rapiers at a
Made In Britain show at the Pavilion Theatre in Exmouth, Devon last Friday.

"I can't thank Justin and his parents enough for putting themselves out so
much to help me in my hour of need. It was such a wonderful act of
kindness," said Colin.

"It was one of those days when everything seemed to go wrong. Firstly, my
amp was playing up and then my Meazzi echo packed up."

Phil Kelly was there and found himself regretting he had not, as originally
planned, brought his echo unit for Colin to try out.

As the clock ticked away towards the start of the show at 8 p.m., any
solution seemed miles away from Exmouth.

But that was when Justin stepped in, phoning his parents at about 6.30 p.m.
as they were having dinner at home in Yeovil, the best part of an
hour-and-a-half's drive away.

Putting Justin's Meazzi echo in the car, they made the dash for Exmouth and
got to the theatre with just minutes to go before curtain up.

"Justin and I set it up with just about two minutes to go!" said Colin.

"Words seem almost inadequate to thank Justin and his parents enough for
what they did that night. They really did save the day and I will never
forget how they literally pulled out all the stops to help us.

"Justin, God bless you and your parents for all that you did. I salute you
for your wonderful kindness."

That sounds like 'Malcolm' all right.
A good lad indeed! Great guitarist and a thoroughly nice bloke.
And if he buys the Crem D'Menthes on Sunday we'll continue to say so!! ;)
cheers

Can't believe CPJ had only one echo with him ............Yes I know its not feasible to carry a second Meazzi (and I know there's nothing like a Meazzi and digital just isn't the same.....) but you gotta plan for these events - especially when people are paying good money to watch the show !

I always carry my Q20 and MS Magic stomp in case my ESE develops a fault

Justin - Perhaps you could offer a nationwide service ;)

regards
Mark.

I think I'll give Warwick a miss this week - it will be too packed!

And Too Noisy with Chris's Drums!!

Mark, why is it not feasible to carry two Meazzis?

Anyway I thought the saying was "You're Never Alone With A Capstan!"

"Strand", Amanda - "you're never alone with a Strand"
Ergo -

Be there Amanda - I want my lowly, el cheapo Zoom back! All this Meazzi talk is giving my Bank Balance indigestion!!
cheers
Ian

Mr Something or other picker,

I remember it from an old "Hancock's Half Hour"

But you are right he did say "Strand!" :)

What you need is my upcoming "Little Box" to add to your Zoom! :)

You'll never all fit in at the Warwick Club!

And there's no cheese cobs! :(

(I just had to mention cobs, the thread would be worse for no mention of them!)

What is this thread about anyway? :?

You need rubber drumsticks Chris!
