The listing doesn't have a button because it's sold out.

Hank talked about playing the Gibson with MWF in an interview with The Hollies' Tony Hicks which was published in Guitarist magazine sometime in the '80s. From memory, he described playing it as "slightly unpleasant".

Thanks.

I see the listing, but there is no button to place the item into my "trolley".

I'll give Leo's Den a ring tomorrow.

There are some on eBay Jim £14-99 free delivery.

The guitar is a Gibson J-45, circa 1965, finished in cherry sunburst. The Shadows had two of them and they were in use until about 1969 (certainly on their Japan and UK tours that year - used for the acoustic songs and sequences).

Thanks Jim, just knew you'd come up trumps as usual. It does contain some duets with Joe Brown
which I haven't seen before. If you get stuck it's definitely on ebay.

The inside sleeve of the CD shows Hank playing a sunburst Les Paul. He is often quoted as saying he tried one but couldn't really make anything of it - it didn't seem as intuitive as the Strat.

Here's another pic of Hank, also to be found within the 'Dance With The Guitar Man' album, playing another Gibson... (I am assuming this is the guitar Norman refers to in his original post and the one mentioned above by George...)

Thanks, George.

Obviously, there must be be more imagery on the CD sleeve than the four pages shown at: https://www.discogs.com/release/19526011-Hank-Marvin-Dance-With-The-Guitar-Man

There's no Les Paul Deluxe shown there.

But Norman seemed to recognise the inner "page" with the J-45 as the one he meant.

PS: Please disregard our conversation of Sunday afternoon. I have a copy of the CD on its way! ;)
