Will it be the last performance of The Shad's?

Postby eugene » Fri Feb 12, 2010 3:54 pm

Hi ! Everyone.
Luckly, I've got a ticket of 14, March, The Coca Cola Dome,Johannesburg,South Africa.

At this tour,They look brighter than 2004~2005.

But then.

What do you think it is the very last performance of The Shadows ?

If that so ?

What shall I do ?

The Shadows are the leader of my life.......

Yours Sincerley

Hi Eugene...

There are quite a few of us who have attended performances billed as the "last ever" Shadows performance; many folks travelled to UK from all over the world to Hammersmith, then Palladium and the following year, Birmingham... :?

So the honest answer is, "who knows?"...

Wouldn't mind betting that they might play the Royal Albert Hall in London every now and then. But if not, maybe there'll be ShadowMania (or not!!)

Nothing is certain!

Hi Amanda you are right about Status Quo, i manage to see them a couple of weeks ago in Halifax. A great show and they still rock! So who know it would be nice to see the Shads in the old venues of the 70's and 80's up close!

I just bought a DVD from Status Quo, recorded live in Montreux (Switzerland) in July 2009. They are also still kickin'

Dear David,

Thank you very very much for your kind answer.

I will go see Johannesburg concert next week.

If this is the last or not.

I shall be "cool" like shad's forever.

I will play the Guitar like Shad's (can't I ?).

See you some time.

Sincerly Yours
