A true gentleman and a technical whizz...

He made my old AC 30 sound magical.

Rest in peace, Brother.

So sad to read that Roger has died. I met him at a Pipeline Convention and enjoyed talking to him. His backing track CDs opened up a new world for me. I played many of his tracks at the Essex Guitar Club which always went down extremely well. Sincere condolences to his family and friends. A great loss to The Shadows Community. R.I.P. Roger. I didn't know Roger personally, but I have seen his name very frequently on this forum and he contributed a lot to the world of The Shadows' music. Sadly another member of the Shadows family gone... Rest in peace Roger...

Deeply saddened by this. I had known Roger for many years, since he and Margaret lived in Helensburgh and he turned up on my doorstep looking for a copy of my Shadows discography.

We kept in touch sporadically after his move south, and I reviewed many of his CDs for 'Pipeline'.

Coming so soon after Rob Bradford's passing, this
is another blow to our community.

Sincere condolences to Margaret and Chris from both of us.

So sorry to hear the sad news of Rogers passing, a great loss to the Shadows Community and an excellent guitarist who will always be remembered by many through the great backing tracks he produced over the years. It was always a pleasure to chat with him on the occasions that we meet at Shadowmania and Scarborough. Sincerest condolences to his family and friends, RIP Roger.
