According to the web, Hank is 5’7”. He seems much taller. Does anybody know? Apologies for the trivia question.

He's 5'11" - according to 'Life-lines of The Shadows' (p.177 of The Story of The Shadows - the 'auto'biography they wrote with Mike Read). Having met him a couple of times I can confirm that he's about the same height as me - and I'm 5'11.5".

There does seem to be some misinformation online. “The Story of the Shadows” as referenced by Clive does indeed show Hank at 5’11” with Bruce and John both at 6’0” and Brian at 5’9”. The magazine page Mike Read reproduces in his book is one I remember from some magazine in the 1960s (maybe "Beat Instrumental?”). These were their quoted heights in their heyday, age does bring in a degree of shrinkage but nothing like as much as some sources suggest!
