John Rostill

Hi. It was fifty years ago today that we lost that great musician and songwriter John Rostill. Still admired and loved by those who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory lives on through his wonderful music and his contribution to The Shadows was immeasurable. RIP John

Indeed it is. Quite some time ago and such a shame (to quote one of his compositions) that he isn't here anymore.
