The club is very sad to announce the passing of a great friend and former club member Toney Minchella.
Always a strong supporter of the club before arthritis restricted his attendances.
Lots of fond memories of a really nice friend

Heard this sad news just after the New Year and it still doesn't seem real.
Tony was a fine player and great company, the annual Scarborough Gala will not be the same.
RIP Tony

We heard the news about Tony just before New Year and were so sorry to hear it. He was a lovely friendly man and he loved coming to Scarborough to join in with the gala. We often come up to Newcastle and remember the day we went into The Mile Castle Wetherspoons and bumped into him. Needless to say we had a drink with him and a good chat. We shall miss his smiles. Condolences from all at Scarborough Guitar Club East Yorkshire.
