Well worth seeing. also joining him on stage is ronnie tutt Glen Hardin, the Imperials, the sweet inspirations and a fantastic bass player by the name of Nathan East. the concert in Sheffield on Friday was a brilliant night! If you can grab a ticket for one of the remaining shows and enjoy!

Yup, Nathan East - great bass player - played with Clapton for many years.

I saw James with Billy Swan ("I Can Help") and the Grundy Pritchard Band at the 100 club in London a few years ago. It was a great show and James stayed behind until everyone had the autographs, handshakes and pictures they wanted, which was a lot of autographs, handshakes and pictures!

I agree with your comments about James and the band , it's a pity the origional bass player Jerry Scheff hasn't made it this time, as he to is an exceptional bass player. I first met James Burton while at Graceland and as I cued up to get his autograph noticed he had his pink paisley tele - caster with him and was letting people hold it so I managed to get a few strums on it, oh I thought I was in heaven.

for me James Burton is more of Ricky Nelson fame (1958-1967), although he also later played with Elvis Presley (1969-1977).
