There is a comment in the description about the lightness of the guitar. Would a sunburst such as this dry out more than a solid colour over 55 years?

As regards the weight,in the fifties the wood would have been "seasoned",probably for years unlike nowdays and I would have thought was well dried out by the time it was used. I find it unusual to think it may have lightened since. Just my opinion.
