If anyone comes across any of the Blue Mountain Boys ask them if we can have our plug board back.
They borrowed it c1961 for a gig in Durham City and b*ggered off with it afterwards.

Freddie Starr and the Midnighters on the other hand borrowed almost all our gear - but they returned it.
They were sharing the bill at Durham Town Hall with a group called Derrie Wilkie and the Others. I remember asking Freddie what he thought of them and he said "As a singer he is a helluva dancer"

The saxophonist of the Undertakers, Brian Jones, still lives in Wallasey and still keeps busy in and around Wirral. I believe he now plays in a band by the name 'Night Train' with Ian Hunter who was an old Anselmian friend of mine and I played with him in the 'Valkyrie' days (61/63) before going to away to sea.
