Hi Everyone,

Here we are again with details of new releases, update on Jet, and dates for Cliff’s 70th Birthday Celebration concerts.

BEFORE WE CONTINUE WE HAVE TO ADVISE YOU THAT WE WILL BE CLOSED FROM THE 10TH to the 17TH MARCH INCLUSIVE AND UNFORTUNATELY EMAILS WILL NOT BE ANSWERED OR ORDERS DESPATCHED DURING THIS PERIOD.

First about Jet. He has now started performing again and we understand that he doesn’t need to see his specialist for a few months and hopefully the results will be good. Jet is due to collect his M.B.E on the 10th March so we hope all goes well for this very special occasion.

The concerts in Australia etc. have gone well and at least ‘the boys’ have seen the sun – more than we can say here in England.

Shortly it will be the turn of South Africa to experience the phenomenon that is Cliff Richard and The Shadows. What an exciting time ahead for many South African fans who probably have never ever seen them perform together.

As Cliff fans have come to expect, Cliff always tours every 2 years with his own solo concerts. Although he has been performing already this year, he is sticking to tradition and will be appearing again later in the year. This time it will be at the Royal Albert Hall and he will celebrate his 70th Birthday with 6 nights at the Royal Albert Hall, in London on the 11th, 12th, 13th, 15th, 16, and 17th October. Note there is currently no concert for the 14th October (Cliff’s birthday). Called “Bold As Brass” he will feature songs from his still-to-be released CD of the same title and will be accompanied by a big ‘swing’ band. Tickets go on sale on the 7th March at 9.0 am. Only 4 tickets will be allowed per application. No queuing or camping will be allowed at the Albert Hall prior to the 7th March. If you want to apply personally, it is advisable to visit the Box Office before that date and obtain a queuing voucher which will allow you to queue in number order from 7.0 am to 8.30 am. on the 7th March . Any voucher holders arriving after that time will have to join the end of the queue. Tickets are only available from the Royal Albert Hall and from no other ticket agencies ANYWHERE – so be warned. Booking details are: Tel: 0845 401 5033, Online www.royalalberthall.com

Or by person to the Box Office, Royal Albert Hall, Kensington, London with proof of identity. If you are thinking of booking online or by phone, we would advise you that Circle tickets are at the very top of the Albert Hall, and the seating is steep, so not good if you do not like heights. The choir stalls are round the back of the stage. You can go to the Royal Albert Hall web site prior to the 7th and print off a seating plan so you will know where any offered tickets are positioned.
