If the strap button is installed in the "B" (ES-335) position, it needs to be either HUGE (like the one on a Burns) or lockable. And preferably both. I bet Ecca (with his experience of the ES-335 and the SG) has already considered this.

Don't creat accident repair work for luthiers (gluing headstocks back on) if you can avoid it.

I think Gibson should advise you Ecca try approaching them perhaps through their forums if no helpline
