hi all does anyone know what the letters in a descrition of a 1994 japan made strat stand for. rare st62-as fender bmt. its a ltd edition model. its the as and bmt that i dont understand

I think it relates to the colour - Burgundy Mist (BMT) so it is "as Fender Burgundy Mist"

wasnt that the ltd edition model where the headstock was the same colour as the body?

I sold one a few years ago in my shop. Nice guitar. i've always had a soft spot for the Japanese strats!. As with most of the non-US strats you can get a 'bummer' now and then, but the quality control on Jap ones is/was pretty good.
