Stuart - was looking for the 'snub' - would you mind posting the link, please? I was reading that Allan Clarke didn't want to perform as he hadn't sung in 10 years - and he went to a vocal coach. Was hoping to catch a snippet.
Many thanks,
Bernie

It's a shame that Allan Clarke no longer sings with the Hollies as i would liked to have seen the Hollies live but only if Allan Clarke was singing. The only orignal member is Tony Hicks now (very underrated guitarist).
I think they released a new album last year and are now on a world tour.

All this is simply a reminder of how fortunate we all are to still have Cliff & the boys still at the top of their game.

I also thing it's sad to so many are inducted after they have 1 foot in the grave and are no longer ABLE to perform. I mean, c'mon...Joan Jett playing Dave Clark 5 toons? How sad is that?

It took the Americans long enough to have The Ventures on the RRHF. Unfortunately, the US citizens can see no further than that.
It's all to do with taste and we all know theonly 'taste' the Americans have is in their mouth.
A thoroughly uncivilized nation not worthy of The Shadows

Unless this statement is intended to be funny - (and I don't think it is)- then it is
totally out of line - (and I am not an American citizen).

Stuart - many thanks - very amusing. You actually see Terry Sylvester asking for the mic in the Train singer's ear - and then getting put in his place by Allan Clarke who takes the mic from him a few seconds later! And, no offence to the LFC shirt - but hardly appropriate attire for a big night like that!
As we would say here in Belfast - what a dose!
