Dave, do you have any videos or audios of that gig. Love to see 'em.

I thought I'd also mention that your recording of No Retreat is in my top 10 of all time best videos/audios. I downloaded it off Youtube many moons ago and I reckon I play it just about every day. It's one of those tunes that just inspires me to stop worrying about my own hardships (I ain't actually got any) and get on with life. Just brilliant mate to see you familiar dial smiling and of course to hear your vituoso playing.

(If this sounds like I want a favour, I'll PM you in due course.)

P.S. That victory roll in the Spitty at the end reminds me of the time I did one in a Hornet and then proceeded to do a wheels up landing, only to be alerted by radio from my ground crew that saved my hide (and my pilot's licence).

P.P.S. I'm starting to look a lot like my avatar these days, so I hope you'll recognise me when I come visit in September.

I sincerely hope we don't yet have a video of that gig Tony . . . . . . . :o It doesn't happen until next Sunday

Joking aside, I hope that we will get it down on tape and if so there's a good chance that you will be able to see it if it turns out OK.

I'm pleased that you like 'No Retreat', we have re-issued it in aid of 'Help For Heroes' and the tune remains a firm favourite of mine.

Tony, it'll be good to see you and you can tell Carol the we won't be playing 'Deer Hunter', please give her my sincere apologies as I know she likes it . . . .

The show is almost a sell out and we are looking forward to seeing everyone from here, if you see me please make yourselves known, there's an interval where we nip out and have the chance to say hello in the bar.
Thanks to everyone who has booked and we look forward to a good night.
Doors open at 7pm and the show gets under way at 7-30 prompt. :)

How could I never have heard this before! It's a fabulous tune, beautifully played and I'm a Spitfire fan too. (There's a little model Spit on the shelves behind me as I type). I must have played this video 5 times already! Thanks so much for posting it, Tony and Dave: didn't you write to me about mastering A, E and D chords.Ha! You're all brilliant! :)
best wishes

Dave, maybe I could be your new super-agent. (a) I could record videos and audios before you play them, (b) I could keep selling your CD's after you've sold out, and (c) I could do the Vegemite dance in a pink tu-tu on stage while you play. Whaddya reckon ?

Hi Dave
I'd be there in a flash for one of those 20 seats except I'm in Australia. Just listening to that video again. Absolutely fab! Love it!
