It's that time of year again for the evening of Shadows Music in aid of the Warsop Hospice. Tuesday 1st June is the day
Here's the poster, entrance is only £4.00 which will leave you with lots of money to spend on raffle tickets for this very worthy cause.

Well, Pete, I'll reply - as it seems no-one else around here is much interested!

The full address, and postcode for those relying on SatNav, is:
The Tudor Barn
Warsop Parish Centre
Church Warsop
Mansfield
NG20 0SN
Tel: 01623 842 165

Their website is:
http://www.warsopparishcentre.co.uk/default.html where you'll find a link to a map if you need it.

Our Band will be playing to the usual packed house - with or without support from the Shadowmusic "Community" - and will feature five Shadows-mad musicians who actually play "Live" (not a backing-track in sight!), and don't just sit at home twiddling with knobs on their Strats, Vox's, Quadraverbs, Zooms etc etc.
Looks like there'll be two sets, each of about 45 minutes, playing many of the Shads hits, along with some of their lesser-known tunes, too.

The Warsop Hospice is a VERY worthy cause, their support group works hard to raise funds, and we're DELIGHTED to play a small part in this - it's our third year, and is a gig that we always look forward-to. Get off your bums on 1 June - you never know, you might just find that Live Music is addictive - we did!

Regards
Paul

This is a good cause and you guys and gals should be commended for giving your services for free. At the moment it's a free date for me and I will be there providing it stays that way, I hope it's OK to pay on the door.

SWMBO reckons I'm "round" enough - especially now that Andy & Rach are staying at "Greenway Lodge" - Rach came back from shopping earlier this afternoon with BAGS full of beer & cyder and FILLED my Garage "Beer Fridge"!
Anyroadup, Dave (Robbo) - if you can make it to Warsop, it'll be good to see you - and thanks for the kind comments, too.
Not sure "Our Kid" will be too chuffed, though. A PROFESSIONAL guitarist in the audience - no pressure, then! (Only joking - honest!)

Good luck!

We did a Cliff/Shads charity gig in Leamington Spa the other weekend and got a full house without remembering to advertise on here! I'm sure you'll get an audience.

Best wishes
