Barry Gibson will be visiting & playing at the Surrey Shadows Club this evening (21st May).

The latest Local Heroes CD - TWO OF OUR SHADOWS ARE MISSING will also be available to buy.

Another great meeting in store.

Cheers,

Barry was indeed there last night and he invited Keith West to come along. Keith provided the vocals for Move It and Gee Whiz It's You while Barry backed him using the Burns Custom Double Six Apache - the actual guitar that was used by Hank on the recent Ciff & The Shadows Reunion tour.

There was the usual very high standard of musicianship on display, with people coming over very long distances to play. Special mention has to be made of young Stewart Gabriel from Watford who put all the 'rooted on the spot oldies' to shame by playing several Shads favourites (accompanied by father Ian on drums) and not only playing them well, but doing all the moves - the Walk, the kicks on FBI etc at the same time!
