The Undercover Shadows

Postby Lee Restarick » 28 Nov 2010, 12:47

Hi All
I've just started a Shadows Tribute Band with a few old muso mates of mine. It wasn't until recently we found out that we were all huge Shadows fans, so we decided to get together.
Have a look at the website, there are a few audio clips from our rehearsals on there (warts 'n' all). Three of the guys in the band have been pro musicians for 20+ years, but are never too proud to get some criticism, especially when it comes to The Shads! This forum certainly has some of the best Shads techies around.

Thanks
Lee Restarick

Interesting. Best of luck.

You might want to correct the text on the cover page. The Shadows did not compose Let Me Be the One. It was written by Paul Curtis

Good luck.

There is also a spelling mistake in the same paragraph as the Let Me Be The One item.

Thanks Pete, I found an "of" missing but can't see any spelling mistakes. I guess I spent too much time while at school thinking about guitars and not listening to my English teacher!!

H Lee,
There can never be too many bands playing Shadow Music! Best of luck with the project. Do keep everyone posted / updated on gigs etc., etc. Re:spelling on your home page (just a simple typo).... The Shadows were not just an instrumentals band......

Best wishes,

Rob

Hi Lee,
You've got an "H" in "were".
I've recently done my first my first website so I know how easy it is to miss little errors no matter how many times that you look at them.
Pete.

Thanks everyone for spotting the typo's, I have amended them. I've also just corrected my last post as I left a word out....!!!
