Hi Everyone.
Seeing that many of you were at the O2 last week I was wondering if you could tell me how easy it is to get there and what is the best mode of transport.Also what are car parking arrangements like.

There are huge car parks for the O2 right against it as well as Bus Parks. The O2 also has its own underground station. Depends how you want to travel there but you will be catered for

Someone arrpved at the last minute in the row in front of us, said they had been an hour in a traffic jam trying to get into the vicinity of the O2, so it seems if you drive, go early.

The car park is expensive - £17.50 for pre booked tickets plus £1.75 booking fee, and £25 if you pay on the day. However as the Arena holds 15000 at least and there are 2200 car places, best to pre book.

I only know the approach from Waterloo, we get the dearer, £6, but much more fun Thames Clipper Express, go out to the open air bit at the back and watch London from the river. The Express takes 30 minutes and normally runs half hourly from 4.00pm on O2 show days, if not there's the ordinary 'bus' version that stops along the way and takes best part of an hour. You can book the Express, if it's running, on the internet. It goes from the pier next to the London Eye. We then go back to Waterloo afterwards on the underground, 15 minute trip.

Hi Gillian buy an Oyster card online from Transpost for London website put 10 pound on it you can use it on all london transport we went from mainline station Kings Cross tube use the Northern line south platform to London Bridge change to Jubilee line eastbound to North Greenwich...your at the O2 Complex...and back
(if you buy the top-up card they won't accept it on the thames clippers which is a pleasant way to travel)
