A good find. Not only did Carroll Levis "discover" the Drifters but also, it seems, Kenny Ball!

As Kenny Ball, an established trumpeter, had formed his own band in 1958, you may wonder why he would have participated in a show such as this, but more regarding the Drifters from a previous thread...

Re Les Bennetts deputising for Bruce...I'm guessing that was the occasion when Jet gave him his money and said, "Nice to do business with you," which Les used to say whenever he booked Jet in the years before Jet became the rich and famous Drifters/Shadows bass player!
