Hi Alan,
On Friday night, I was in Block B and high up near the back. On Saturday night, I was in Block GG, 2nd row with Hank being in front of me. So, I zoomed in to see that the Black and Green guitar, which he was playing, was a Burns make. I did not realise that it was a 12 string. When Cliff joined in with Bruce and Hank with the 3 of them playing Acoustic Guitars, Cliff was playing Bar Chords and I think he was sharing the Lead with Hank. Great pictures, Alan. I was having trouble with the lighting, as usual at these events, and also with sharpness and low F numbers on my camera.
George,
I too was heartened to hear them playing the very early numbers. Yes, the overall sound was very good considering the Concert Hall was a large shed. I don't know how they can start playing so well in the darkness at the start of each half.
Rune,
I agree that the sound was even better on Saturday night.
Looking forward to the live DVD,
Neil.
