Played by Paul Rossiter with Shadows-minus-Hank backing.
Played through TVS3 preamp but no echo, only reverb from an EMT 140 plate reverb plugin.
It is interesting to speculate why Hank didn’t use his customary Meazzi echo: could it have been out of action or did he just prefer the reverb?
I guess we will never know. According to the Shadows Recording Catalogue, it was the only tune recorded at Abbey Road on 24th August 1960 so there are no other tunes that might have indicated what equipment was used on that day.

Nice to get back to basics with this Shadows tune, Norrie Paramour said when asked what the follow up to Apache would be he said probably the oldie Shane backed by another Jerry Lordan composition ,but this was not the case as the follow up was Man of Mystery .
