Starcrash Theme

Generally reckoned to be one of the worst films of all time (it's no Battlefield Earth, but still pretty dire) this 1979 space opera has been accused of being a Star Wars rip-off. It's not; actually both films were in production at the same time.

It has two redeeming features; the luscious Caroline Munro - dubbed with an American accent for some unknown reason. And the music score, composed by John Barry, who in my opinion can do no wrong!

Here's my arrangement of the Main Theme, and the middle section, which is from another part of the same film, is called Escape Into Hyperspace.

My usual mix of instruments, Stratocaster for the lead and rhythm, rhythm in the middle bit is my trusty old Yammy acoustic, and Mellotron for all the strings and brass.
