Spotnicks cover - Another You

Postby Uncle Fiesta » 28 Jan 2022, 21:18

When I discovered this track on the Spotnicks Greatest Hits album a few years ago, I couldn't wait to have a bash at playing it!

Then after an unsuccessful attempt to find a backing track, I realised I'd have to do my own, so here is the result.

Little teaser for you: What guitar did I use to play the lad?

Nice job- sounds like the bridge pup on a Tele- the 1st string tends to sound 'ice picky'

Correct! Gibson Les Paul Studio.

In full humbucker mode as it doesn't have a coil split.

All the other guitars were Strats except of course the bass, this was my Cort GB74 Active fitted with roundwound strings (don't arf hurt your fingers when you've been using flatwounds for any length of time!)
