Excellent Roger. When is the CD coming out?

p.s. re your recent enquiry about gaining honorary Hankie status. Yes, your application can be accepted, provided that your name really is Roger. You will first need to attend a Tuesday Hanky meeting, bringing with you your birth certificate / passport as proof of name. Please note that we now have four Rogers and we have temporarily designated you as Roger The Fifth

Many thanks for the kind comments - like everyone else on the site I get a buzz out of playing very much but it's always such a bonus when others enjoy it.

Phil I value your opinions very much and appreciate your comments on this soundfile.

Roger I'm hoping to finish the next BT CD by the end of this month. Now regarding attending the Hankies meeting - there may be a problem (that is apart from the distance involved !!) because I'm Cornish and I have a feeling that my Cornish birth certificate and passport may not be acceptable. ;) Anyway it sounds as though you have a glut of Rogers already. :?

That's it, Roger 5  - the "Collective" that we Hankies have been searching for - "A Glut of Rogers"
If we Hankies can make it down to Exciter then I'm sure you can follow the motorway up here one day.
You might even get a Malcolm badge - or should that be a Roger badge?
cheers

Roger (5). A Cornish birth certificate and passport will be perfectly acceptable providing that they are accompanied by a dozen Cornish Pasties. :D

Hi Roger,

I enjoyed listening to your excellent rendition of this one. You are probably right in saying that it has not been done much before. Thanks for posting it. I hope that we can hear a few more from this Shadows era. I enjoyed listening to your interpretation.

Regards,
Len

I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed this soundfile Len although of course it wasn't my interpretation - I only copied the original Shads arrangement apart from arranging that the BT had a finish rather than fading out.

Phil I'll bear in mind the pasties should I ever get up that way but I'll have to apply to the Cornish Mafia for an export licence !!

I love this tune - my joint favourite Police track along with 'King of Pain' and 'Spirits in the Material World'... How I would love to be able to write songs like those....

Roger - a really wonderful, complete piece of work here... The essence of this song is in the hidden 'menace' of the lyric and the mood of the arrangement - and you have captured this beautifully in your rendition.

You have the purest sound - well done.

Tony.
