I'm afraid it is!! Run for the Bloxwich hills Ecca!!
Found this in the archives.
A clip from a typical Warwick (UK) Shads Club meeting. The guitar is my 2004 bog standard MIJ 57 Re-Issue - no mods whatsoever, straight into the House backline.
Nice playing from John (Woody) on rhythm, Iain Purdon on that wonderful Burns Bass and Ron Innes superb on drums. (I think Angie had finished the newspaper by that time!LOL) Thanks guys!
My grateful thanks too to Gillian Gatland who made the video and sent it tome. Some nice editing in there - very snazzy.
Come along an enjoy the Club, its excellent rural location (but easy to get to) and surroundings - see Club page for dates.

cheers
ian

Hi Ian,
Hope you're impressed with the quick reply !! - Just finished a thread and there you were at the top.
Great stuff Ian - I've always liked Warwick and this brings back some great memories. Must pay another visit.
John who played rhythm is also a brilliant drummer and he helped out our old band B'flint with the percussion on at least one occasion as did the superb bass player Iain when we stuck one year for a bass player on a new years eve gig.

Full marks Ian to you for a great performance!! - and to the video recorder for a great youtube clip.

Cheers Phil

Hi Phil
And I hope you're impressed with the fast reply to the fast reply! :?
Yes - Warwick is a good Club even if its a 90 minute trip each way for me - a problem early and late in the year due to my duff eyesight.
I have made amends to the original post above and included Gill in there as she made the superb video. Havent seen her around the Club in recent times - I hope you are OK Gill - if you still view these pages.
cheers
Ian
