Very difficult to play with enough fluidity, but you are doing it well.
BTW, don't forget that the correct spelling is "Equinoxe" !

Thanks Ian and Didier , i must admit the timing was a bit wobbly in a couple of places , i dont know the tune very well but as i had recorded it on my cheapo camera while practicing it, i thought why not put it on ! regards Ron

Yes, I know it is, but it's a French composition by Jean-Michel Jarre, and should be written with the French spelling, as it is on the Shadows' recordings ! ;)

Hi Gents' and Jimbo too!....only joking mate!. well, i just wanted to say that i think that Equinoxe was one of the greatest numbers that the Shads played Live. Maybe this is for another forum, but their interpretation was superb in my opinion, You guys out there doing this number..........hats off to you, I hope that i get to play drums on it one day......i'll have my work cut out that's for sure, Best wishes to all Trommerslaggere' ( that'd Danish for drummer!)

I've played Equinoxe a few times, but rarely without a mistake. The fingering is not too much of a problem but the timing is fiendish, with much of the melody being 'off the beat' (to be very technical.) Being able to count rapidly (and without moving your lips if performing in public) is the key!

Hi Ron,

I liked your rendition of that number. I thought you played it well. As you said yourself, it is difficult to play. I agree with some of the comments made earlier. I think it needs to be played a little more smoothly at times. However, I am sure that if you work on it a little more, perhaps, you will be able to smooth out some of the jerkiness. Nevertheless, it was well played. :D :D

Cheers,
Len
