Hi Brian, have just found this thread, life is much too short, your apology was accepted although i don't think one was needed , just an honest mistake, the site needs more like yourself not less, scrap that removal notice to the moderators, regards Keith

Hi Brian,
I don't know you, but I also don't know most of the other members personally either.
But I am on the site most every day and I have learned so much from people like yourself, giving tips and hints
for our wonderful hobby of playing Shadows music.
Yes you made a mistake of judgement but you have also made a very humble public apology which I think should be the end of the matter.
Please don't leave the site, we all friends here, you included.

Best regards,
Baz.

Dear Brian,

First, being a historical figure on this site prevents you from leaving it.
You have always been a superb human being and your contribution to this site overwhelmingly annihilates this insignificant incident.
I made a terrible mistake not long ago when I was trying to get as close as I could to the sound of "Blue Star".
I put the original and my sound file under the same folder so I could easily access them for sound comparison.
The file names where very close somehow.
When I decided to post (it was early evening in the US, so probably 3 to 4 am in Europe), somehow, I picked the original and I though,
WOW, they are going to be very impressed, I really got the sound here.
Thank God, minutes later, I got a message and email from my wonderful friends in OZ (Paul and Spike) who were up then, telling me
"Abel, you probably didn't realize, but you posted the original Blue Star".
I said "O my God! how did this happen, God bless you." and I immediately took it away and put my sound.

As you can see, it could happen to anyone.
So please do not quit and at least keep in touch with email with anyone of your choice.

Blessings,
Abel

Hi Brian, I've had some rough times (medically) for a few years and get so much help/advice from this site, met some really nice people too, I would be lost without it. (as probably you would)
