This is as old as the hills but dusted down it shows the power of sampling and mixing.

This has around 23 tracks, ten bounced down to make space. The vocal is Steve Hogarth lead singer in Marillion on the album Anoraknophobia track 1 'Between You & Me'. I had access to the tapes but I played around only with Steve. The rest are all sampled loops--everything. I can't play like this and I don't think many on here could either.

Forget the 1st min (just shows the reverb and echo on the lead vocal) I then launch the piece into the main body of the soundfile. All mixed and efx in Sony Acid. Vocal wants beatmapping better than it is.

Sounds nothing like the guitar work on the original Between You and Me--I took a different route.
