This guy is one of my favourite players in his genre. Andrew Lothling check him out. He does it the hard way looping a DL4 & building up his layers where there's no chance of rectifying a bum note.
I'd do it in a multi-track recorder--then he would have no problems re starting over.
He's good- headphone him.
