Hi all,

Glad you liked it. It's a very melodic tune, a superb Backing track and fun to play.
This are my settings:

Guitar ---->MagicStomp (patch 8) -----> EQ ------> Fender Hot Rod Deville 4X10 ------> captured live through a small camcorder about 6 feet away.

Dave,
I should have done that in the first place (fitted at least a 12th gage) instead of using an EQ.
Your Wonderful land is just superb. I wonder what echo you used as the ambiance is just like the original.
You have plenty of sustain. What patch did you used?.

Jim,
Everytime "Midnight in Paris" goes on TV (quite often), I cannot stop watching it again and again, and not really for the music,
but for the story, the acting and the incredible atmosphere. Of course the music is superb and fits perfectly.

Blessings,
Abel

Hi Abel, I used my own patch set up on my Macbook Pro in Logic, based on my four head ESE Echomatic, but using five heads, with heads 2 / 3 / 4 reduced 20% in volume. The first head is set at 30ms as a thickening aid. The rest of the heads are similar settings to the EFTP patch for the same tune.
I was also using the Vox AC15 amp setting in Logic. Other than that there was no extra effects added. :)

As far as I know, the Squier Classic Vibe '50s only comes with maple neck, it's the '60s model which comes with a rosewood neck.

To add to that Didier, I believe that the rosewood board model is the Simon Neil (Biffy Clyro) Strat - unless Squier have extended their range.
I wasn't aware that there was a red one in this range untilI came across mine on Ebay, though it isn't fiesta red as we know it, it's actually more red and closer to the colour on the Hank Marvin £5000 jobbie that Oasis Music set up..

The "Simon Neil" is a specific "signature" model based on the Classic Vibe '60s, and is available in fiesta red only, while the Classic Vibe '60s isn't, so it's the model to choose if you want a rosewood neck...
