Yes standing up for video making is a new one for me ! I'll have to be careful not to fall over

Ian - I know you like "Take That" - I remember you doing an instro of one of theirs the day it was released.!
I'm only 6 years late - Is it really that old
Very glad you liked it - any recordings of Phil W's version ?

Happy new year to you both...
Cheers Phil

Great Phil. This is my favourite Take That song. Slapsticker is right, I used to play this for the Hankies.

You asked if there was a recording, well it's here: http://www.4shared.com/mp3/-9_YuC9_/Shine.html

Not up to your lofty standards I'm afraid but one of the few personal arrangements I ever made 8-)

Phil W

p.s. Maybe the reason that Slapsticker and I both like this tune is because, like Mark Owen, we are both Mancs.

Update: After 10 years absence, now a born-again Hankie

Hi Phil - Thanks very much for posting your recording. - It's great ! and the arrangement is very similar to mine.
Interesting that you also chose an overdrive tone which I think is ideal for the song.
Love your screaming high bits near the end  are we allowed to do that on here
Yes Mark Owen has a great voice so good that he did the lead vocal in this one.

All the best to you... Phil
