Blue Sky tester

Postby noelford » 11 Oct 2014, 09:03

I haven't done any recording for ages, and haven't uploaded to Box before. But I've just bought the full version of the eight-track recorder in the JamUp Pro app and this is just an experimental post: Straight in, first recording in JamUp, a one-take recording of Blue Sky, Blue Sea, Blue Me (my own interpretation). This was using my Rob Williams Set Neck De Luxe, with JamUp AC30 model and Roland echo sim. I suspect I may have set the volume a little low, so you may have to crank it up a bit. As I say, just an experimental outing, trying the stuff out. Notwithstanding all that, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't reasonably happy with the result and I'm looking forward to getting used to the recorder and doing a bit more.

Sounded pretty much OK to me Noel, I like your own phrasing that you've employed in places. :)

Thanks for that, Dave, appreciate your comments. I still have a lot to work on with the recording bit - whilst it sounds okay in its own right I'm not getting close enough to my live sound yet. Having said that, I'm just enjoying playing around with it and I'm not sure I have the technical dedication to do much more than that!
