Beautifully subtle touches in here... Really played with care.

Never heard this tune / song before :o

A keeper Ian - really enjoyed it.

Best,

Hi Tony
thanks for listening and your very kind words. Been out of it a few weeks but I'm OK now and recording again.
You are FAR too young to know the original from 1964 :D , so here is a link to increase your "musical education" - as IF you need it! lol!
Hope all is well in ZA with you and Miranda.

Ian, that was superb!
A great number played with light and shade as it should be. Some nice little bends to perfection and beautiful tones as it builds throughout. Great BT - you should be very proud of ALL of it.

Hi Ian,

Thought that was great, nice sound and playing :D . I wish there was some sort of cd out, with some of the instrumentals that you and some of the other guys create themselves on this website, as there is some great talent on this site.
I bet there's a few more Gerry and the pacemakers instrumentals you could do ie 'I'll be There' or 'Girl on a Swing'
In 2007 me and my mate had a little mess about busking in our local market in Willenhall, 1 of the instrumentals was 'It's Gonna Be Alright'. I always thought this would make a good instrumental. At the time i was new to lead type playing and had never played in front of people before. The rhythm player played mostly bass as his main instrument. We knocked together a few instrumentals and this was 1 of them. It sounds pretty terrible but i'd love to hear how one of either you, or any other guys on here, version would turn out, given the quality of the things you, and the other guys do.
I've put the link on for you to have a look at my dodgy version of 'It's Gonna Be Alright  I'm the one in the yellow t shirt playing the strat.

Ps keep them coming i love them

Hi Ian,

I recently recorded this one myself. What a beautiful number and you've truly done it proud. I loved your rendition. Superbly played with lots of feel.

Kind regards

Hi John - thanks for being so kind.
Hi Ryan - liked the video. Girl On A Swing never did it for me but I'll Be There might do something. Might see you at Hankies one day?
Hi Roger - its a great tune, simple yet effective. Sorry, I didn't know you'd recorded it - been off line can few weeks.
Cheers

Hi Ian,

That's a kind of tune I am almost incapable of pulling out myself as it requires patience, precision and
smoothness (none of which I have).
But you do it beautifully.

Blessings,
Abel

Hi Ian,

It's ok, no problem. I recorded it but didn't post it. It wouldn't have been a problem anyway. I love your rendition.

Kind regards

Ah Abel - but I cannot play like YOU do - that wonderfully exuberant guitar style that you have. Each to his own in their own special way, my friend. Thank you for listening and your very kind words. Much appreciated.

Phew! Thank goodness, Roger. I thought I had jumped in on your posting. Glad you liked my version - you should post yours sometimes. Music is not a Competition - its for the Enjoyment and Pleasure of the Soul.
Gosh, thats profound for a Sunday!!
