Thank you all very much for your replies, I am indeed very grateful.

Ecca, I totally agree about Elvis Costello - I'm not a fan at all. There will only ever be one "Elvis" as far as I'm concerned !
I will have to look up Charles Aznavour's version, after all he wrote it. I've watched Notting Hill loads of times but at the end when this song came in it sparked something off that I had to do it. It was a couple of days later that I remembered you did it for all the ladies in your life. I didn't want to duplicate something that's been done really well already , but I thought they do that with Apache so why not. Thanks for not minding.

Thank you very much Roger A. great to hear from you - Hope to meet up for a chat at SM.

Hugh - I wouldn't know what you were talking about except that last Oct I was on a Flight back from the USA and I watched a video on the plane with Diana Kral - Wow what an artist and why did she marry Elvis C. when she could have had you!

Fred - Thanks my friend always great to hear from you, I've got some catching up to do with your songs.
my apologies. I'll get there.

Ian - I guess that 2 songs from the same film when Hank made Marvin at the Movies was enough.
I'm quite glad he left this one, It's not often I have a go at doing my own thing.
Many for your comments and exciting times to come in 2 weeks.

Cheers Phil

No problem at all Phil.
What gets right up my nose is when people blatantly crib what you've done and then claim it as 'their version of'.
There was some wazzock with a spanish sounding name on another site who not only used my BT ( the only one ) without acknowledgement but also cribbed the arrangement exactly,
complete with notes that deviated from the original melody ( that I'd put in ).
That was 'When you taught me how to dance' from the film Miss Potter.
Even when it was pointed out to him he never found the manners to acknowledge it or say thank you.

Grrrrrrr

Cheers again, lovely job.

Hi Robby,
Many thanks for your comment on here and youtube - It must be winter in Aus ?
It's quite nice over here.. Not often we can say that .
Cheers Phil.

Ecca - I've just watched "When you taught me how to dance' from the film Miss Potter." by Katie Melua.
Don't know why I haven't heard that before. Good isn't it. I'll look out for your instrumental.
Yes if someone uses your arrangement and your BT the least they should do is acknowledge it.
I was lucky that the BT I used is on youtube for anyone to download.

Hugh - Diana Kral is an awsome musician - I feel for your loss. Or rather hers.

Cheers Phil
